The Riptide EUC-11NS is the acoustic electric version of the UC-11NS model. It comes equipped with the UK-300T preamp and pickup system that also includes a fully automatic chromatic tuner. A solid Acacia top and laminated Acacia back and sides are also standard. Acacia is a close relative to the traditional Koa wood used to make many of the early Island ukuleles. It also has the similar beauty and tone of traditional Koa. The satin finish is highlighted with Abalone binding around the soundboard and is accented with a creme binding. A Rosewood fingerboard is mounted over the Mahogany neck. Die Cast tuning machines help keep the Aquila Nyglut strings in tune.
